What is The Code Pub? The Code Pub is a meetup for women (your own definition) who are curious about IT. Initiated in the spring of 2013 with the purpose of increasing the number of women in the IT industry. We believe that we can make a change by lowering the threshold to get started with programming and by highlighting female role models within IT. Therefore, The Code Pub is open for total beginners, hobby programmers, professionals and everything in between!

Since the start much has happened and today we not only host the meetups at our office but we also cooperate with other cool IT companies - and the community is larger than ever, recently hitting a 1000 members!

So the concept is very simple. You hang out with great and inspiring people. Get inspired, inspire others and become a better developer all in the process of having fun!

You can read more about The Code Pub and join the group for future meetups here: http://www.meetup.com/The-Code-Pub-Stockholm/
